A thought for potential applicants: Keep in mind our movie schedules. We are open weekends and holidays and will work many evenings. If you are a person who needs to coordinate with a significant-other on work schedules, keep this in mind. We work when most of the world is off work. It's the nature of the entertainment business.
The Assistant Manager will lead our staff to a high level of excellence! This person will assist the General Manager in all aspects of, and generally be responsible for, daily operation of a movie theatre. It calls for an exceptional, enthusiastic person who is self motivated and observant, and is able to solve problems and get things done with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position and will require availability in afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional mornings.
The items below are generally considered mandatory minimum experience and will need to be verifiable:
Optional preferred experience that would be helpful may include experience with Microsoft Access, Power Point and Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite products.
Experience managing staff and providing excellent customer service in an environment similar to ours is a MUST HAVE, most of the rest is open for discussion to the right candidate. Please do not apply if you will need to split your schedule with school or another job, or if you do not have a significant bit of the experience listed above. The theatre is open 365 days a year, including holidays, and you will potentially be working many of them.
Starting salary range $25,000 - $35,000 depending on experience, plus bonuses and commissions.
