Virtually every movie theatre company has an email service that sends you an email every week telling you about the movies they have playing. Just one more email cluttering up your inbox with a lot of stuff you don't care about.
Collins Road Theatres is the ONLY theatre that can send you a reminder ONLY when a movie you want to see is playing. It's the ONLY system like this in the entire country! No junk mail, just the ones you ask us to let you know about.
Heres how it works:
Just What YOU Want to See!
You customize your preferences for your email so you get ONLY the information you want and aren't bothered by a bunch of other junk. You can set lots of different options: Select a movie by the title, it's star, it's director and more. We get comments all the time from people who say they wanted to see this movie or that, but then miss it when we have it playing. With Movie Times News, you can tell us what movie you are waiting for, and we'll let you know when we get it, but without the hassle of getting junk email every week of stuff you DON'T want to know about.
Of course, we would like you to come to ALL of our movies, but obviously that's a little tough to do. So our focus is to let you know about the ones you really want to see. There's always a link to see the rest of the list!
Select Movies by Title
You have a list of current release movies and potential midnight movies. When you put one of the titles in your movie list, you get an email when that movie is playing, and ONLY when that movie is playing. No other emails, just for your movie!
It helps us because we get a count of how many people have each movie on their list. That helps tell us which are the most popular. The more popular the movie, the sooner we play it! In the case of midnight movies, it is the primary source for what we play.
Select Movies by Stars, Directors or Writers
Do you love Tom Hanks? Never miss a Quentin Tarantino film? Love movies written by Iowa's own Max Allen Collins? You can select any stars, directors or writers. When we are playing one of their movies, you get an email! Never miss another Johnny Depp movie again!
Select Movies by Rating
Want to know about only the G and PG movies, but not want to see the R's? You can set up your email preferences to let you know the movies rated like you want, and not even mention the others. These movies will appear in your email regardless of whether they inlcude your favorite stars as mentioned above.
Set YOUR Day
You can specifiy what day you want your email. You can set only one day, or you can set more than one so you get reminded when ever its convenient for YOU.
Not only can you select movies from the list, but this is also the place that you can let us know about movies that you want to see that aren't on the list yet.
Once you submit a suggestion, the new movie will appear on the list for everyone else to add to their movies list. We are able to track how many subscribers are tracking a movie and that will GREATLY influence our decision to run it or not!
Then when it plays you'll get the email message letting you know that it is here, since it is now on your movies list!
What does it cost and why do we do it?
Of course, it costs NOTHING. You only need to give us your email address and set up your favorites so that we can send you the emails. All other information is optional, but it does help us to track usage and provide support. Our Privacy Policy: We will NOT share any of your information with anybody. PERIOD!
